Café Nueva Generación de Costa Rica was born from a shared dream.
We are a family business founded by Verónica Venegas and her husband, two people who decided to bring together their effort, their experience and their love for coffee to build a project of their own, with Costa Rican roots and a clear vision: to bring to every cup a coffee that is fresh, good and has a story behind it.
Like many ventures, our path began with excitement, and also with setbacks. From the start we have learned every part of the process, we have travelled the roads, visited customers, met producers and worked day after day to make room for ourselves in a market full of big names.
But that is precisely where we found our purpose.
We understood that behind a good cup of coffee there is not only a product: there are families, producers, work, land, effort and dreams.
That is why we decided to build Café Nueva Generación differently. We work closely with Costa Rican producers, we choose our coffees carefully and we roast steadily so that our customers can enjoy a product that is fresh, traceable and made with care.
Our name, Nueva Generación, stands for exactly what we want to build: a new way of valuing, sharing and enjoying Costa Rican coffee, without losing respect for those who have spent generations growing it.
Today we keep growing alongside our customers, producers and colleagues. Every new point of sale, every bag that leaves our company and every person who tries our coffee is one more step of that dream we decided to begin together.
We are still a family business, close by and proudly Costa Rican.
