Privacy policy
This policy explains what information we keep when you use this site, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect and why
When you place an order
We keep your name, email, phone and delivery address, along with what you bought and the payment receipt you send us. We need these to prepare your order, deliver it, and confirm the payment came through. Without them we cannot ship to you.
We keep order records for as long as Costa Rican tax law requires us to support our sales.
If you create an account
We keep your name, email, phone and an encrypted version of your password. We never store the password as you typed it, and we cannot read it. The account lets you see your history and reorder without typing your details again.
You can ask us to delete it at any time.
If you subscribe to the newsletter
We keep your email and the language you prefer. We use it only to let you know when we publish an article. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us by email.
If you write through the contact form
We keep your message along with your name, email, and phone if you leave one, so we can reply.
Payments
Payments are made by SINPE Móvil or bank transfer, outside this site. We never ask for or store card numbers. All we receive is the receipt you send us.
Cookies
We use the minimum needed for the site to work: remembering what is in your cart, keeping you signed in, and remembering the language you chose. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your data. We share it only with those needed to serve you: the courier that delivers your order, and the technical providers that host the site and send our emails, acting on our instructions.
We would also hand it over if a competent authority required it by law.
Your rights
At any time, and without giving a reason, you can ask us to:
- tell you what data of yours we hold;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, except what the law requires us to keep for sales records;
- stop sending you the newsletter.

Changes
If we change this policy we update it on this same page. We notify account holders by email of any important change.
